Tallahasssee Coin Club News - October 2017

We had a very good productive meeting. Thanks everyone for attending the meeting. We did discuss on various thing.

Minutes of the meeting:

1.      Renew ANA and FUN membership

2.      Yearly due of $10 will be collected from every member. This will help in paying off the rent to Senior Center. Please pay during November meeting and it will cover 2018 dues.

3.      Short presentation every month

4.      Raffle – 1 oz Silver dollar every month

5.      Silent auction and member trade

6.      Snacks will be provided at the meeting

7.      Members will be going out for Dinner after meeting – all are welcome to join

8.      Once a year in February Club auction – with the materials donated to the club

9.      First Saturday of May every year - One Day Coin Show at Senior Center

10.  Small Christmas/Holiday dinner in December

Dear Members,

Finally we have a venue to resume our monthly meeting, thanks to Senior Center.  Several members preferred 1st Tuesday of every month, so October meeting will be on 3rd @ 1400 N Monroe, Tallahassee, FL 32303 @ 6:30 pm in Room #A1.

The meeting is between 6:30 - 7:30 pm this month only, from November onwards it will be between 7-8 pm.

- Discussion on our regular Club activities

Our next One Day Show scheduled date: May 5th or October 6th 2018

Tallahassee Coin & Stamp Show 2017 - A Great Success...!!!

Combined show attracted both stamp and coin collectors. It was a great success and dealers wants to come back again. Here are few pictures.....

Tallahassee Stamp & Coin Show 2017

For the first time, Tallahassee Numismatic Club will be hosting their Coin Show for this year (2017) along with Tallahassee Stamp & Cover Club (www.tsandcc.info) on April 1 -2, 2017. This would help in drawing more traffic and will have diverse materials for all type of collectors.

The show will be open to the public on April 1st Saturday from 10:00 am until 5 pm and on April 2nd Sunday from 10:00 am until 3 pm. There is no admission charge and parking is free. Dealers from the surrounding states will be on hand to buy, sell and trade coins/stamps, currency and other numismatic /philatelic items.

This meet is a unique opportunity to congregate and trade materials. Unique philatelic and numismatic materials will be raffled hourly. Lots of free stuffs for kids. Please come and enjoy the show.
