US First Colorized Coin - 2020

US mint released their first ever Colorized Commemorative Basketball Hall Of Fame Copper-Nickel Clad Half Dollar Coin San Francisco (S) Mint on August 28, 2020. Mintage limit to 75,000. Very few COAs have been hand signed by Mint Director David J. Ryder.

 

There is mixed reaction among the collectors regarding this coin issue. I never expected US Mint to release a colorized coin. But, it's historic now and has become a unique US Commemorative coin. Along with this they have also released a silver dollar coin. These two coins are dome-shaped and are issue in recognition of the 60th Annivesary of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Cancellation of 8th Annual Tallahassee Coin & Stamp Show 2020

I am sorry to inform you that the Tallahassee Stamp and Coin Show scheduled for April 4-5, 2020 has been cancelled.  We were notified today that the Tallahassee Senior Center (Venue) has suspended all activities through April 10 due to coronavirus concerns.  

Cancelling the stamp and coin show this year is a great disappointment to all of us but we understand the need to take extreme measures during this national health emergency.
