About Us

HISTORY AND PURPOSE

The Tallahassee Numismatic Club formerly Tallahassee Coin Club is a non-profit organization. It was founded in June 2010 in the City of Tallahassee, Florida. The club came together based on the common interests of local numismatists to have a forum for their hobby. The club is member of American Numismatic Association (ANA) and Florida United Numismatists (FUN). The club’s objectives are to promote numismatics and serve as good citizens to enrich the life of our community. As a numismatic organization the club advances the science of numismatics by providing an educational forum and venue. The club also provides a venue for the trading, selling and auctioning of coins.
